Your AI receptionist shouldn't just be functional—it should reflect your brand's unique voice.In Admin > AI Bot > Personality , you can customize the linguistic style and behavioral traits of your assistant.

1. Defining the Persona

We provide several baseline "Personas" that change the vocabulary and tone of the bot:

** The Professional **: Formal, precise, and highly efficient.Ideal for fine dining.
** The Friendly Local **: Casual, warm, and uses emojis.Perfect for neighborhood bistros and pubs.
** The Hype - Man **: High energy, enthusiastic, and uses promotional language.Great for cocktail bars and clubs.

2. Custom Instructions(System Prompt)

For advanced users, you can provide a "Direct Directive".This is a short text block that the AI will follow regardless of the persona.

* Example *: "Always mention our Tuesday 2-for-1 Steak offer if the guest is booking for a Tuesday."

* * Example *: "If a guest asks about parking, remind them there is a multi-story car park 2 minutes away on North St."

3. Language & Regionality

MaîtreAI is multilingual but you can set a Primary Dialect .This ensures the bot uses regional terms(e.g., "Soda" vs "Pop" vs "Soft Drink") that your local customers expect.

4. Human - to - AI Handover

You can define "Panic Phrases" that will immediately trigger a staff notification.If a guest uses words like "Manager", "Upset", or "Urgent", the AI will politely pause the conversation and alert the POS terminal that a human is needed.
