Product Preparation & Serving Suggestions
Improve consistency in your kitchen and bar by providing clear visual instructions to your team. You can now attach preparation notes and serving suggestion photos to any item.
1. Adding Info to Products
Navigate to Admin > Menu > Items and edit a product. Select the "Info" tab to access the new fields:
**Preparation Method**: Enter detailed text instructions for the chef or bartender.
**Serving Suggestion**: Upload a high-quality photo showing exactly how the dish or drink should look when plated.
2. Viewing on KDS & Bar Station
Your team can access this information instantly during service without leaving the ticket screen:
1**Tap to Zoom**: Tap any ticket to expand it to full view.
2. Long-Press: Press and hold any item name for 0.8 seconds.
3. Info Card: A modal will appear displaying the prep instructions and the serving image side-by-side.
This ensures every dish leaves the pass looking exactly as intended.
